My new Feast in the Middle East Trailer!

November 13, 2013

If you are a new visitor, I made this trailer for you, to give you a taste of not only the Middle Eastern recipes I have demonstrated in the past, but a hint of what’s to come. For those that have subscribed to my channel or followed my blogs I want to give you a big thank you from the bottom of my heart! Networks have expressed interest in my show, but want to see big subscription and comment numbers. I figure, I will keep doing what I am doing because I love it, and love the feedback I have been getting from other Middle Eastern foodies. If you haven’t subscribed to my channel or blog please do–it’s free ๐Ÿ˜‰ and you’ll be the first to get my videos and recipes! And with that…here is my kooky trailer!ย

That was so cute! Do you happen to have a recipe for ‘kishi’? I found fawaregh online, which sounds similar, but still no recipe. Also, there’s this candy that’s very hard to get. It’s pink and white, and has the same consistency of Rice Crispy Treats.

Hi Kelli! Fawaregh is stuffed sheep sausages, right? I haven’t posted a recipe for that yet. However, if you have the casing, you can use my stuffing recipe and add 1 tbs chopped fresh mint and 1/2 cup of garbanzo beans to it: As for the pink and white candy…the only thing I can think of that is Middle Eastern is made of coconut…or Turkish Delight–which is kind of like a dense gelatin. Hope this helps somewhat!

Thank you so much Blanche!!! I’ll be trying to make that soon. And, I remember Turkish Delight (reminds me of jelly candy).

Blanche, I am going to forward your blog email address to my cousin Nabil Fahel and ask him to forward to our entire family (we’re large). However, I need u to fix a typo on your blog. The word dancing is without an “e”. Once you fix, re-forward this email and hopefully a lot of people from my family will subscribe. Fran

Thanks for passing on my blog! I do not see the word dancing in my blog, can you direct me which entry has the typo? Thanks! B
