Treating Yourself this Holiday Season:The Keto Box

Everyone I have been talking to lately is depressed, like severely depressed. This is totally normal as there are so many challenges to deal with all at once. Children’s grades and morale dipping from home schooling (something I am dealing with as well) overwhelmed parents who have lost their jobs, deaths in the family (in my family there have been 9 deaths alone, not from Covid but from heart attacks or cancer from lack of treatment), uncertainty about the future, uncertainly about the holidays, nothing really to look forward to and the list goes on. As a result people are diving into comfort food, comfort alcohol, comfort anything. But sometimes it is the little things that give us something to look forward to, and in this blog I am going to share one of those things that have fed my body and soul–The Keto Box.

I want to preface this discovery by telling you I am NOT getting an endorsement nor compensation from The Keto Box. I am simply sharing something that has lifted my spirits lately, especially as a foodie.

The Keto Box is a subscription box containing 10 keto snacks per month. The price starts at $36 with different plans which can include a 28 day meal plan, 20 minute keto coaching call after 2nd shipment, or coupons for the items in the box. What I love is there is something for everyone, whether one has a sweet tooth or savory tooth, as well as some foodie finds I can incorporate in my meal planning.

I don’t tend to eat processed foods at all, however, there are “processed” foods out there in the market that use whole foods based ingredients, so they don’t pose much of a health risk. I am not on the Keto diet, but I do appreciate the approach of keeping sugar levels low all throughout the day, especially when it comes to desserts. The Keto Box procures some of the best non gmo, low sugar products. These products contain natural sweeteners like stevia or monk fruit, and healthy fats like coconut oil, nuts or butter.

Some of my favorite discoveries from this month’s box? No doubt the top one for me is Professor Nutz. I have had a peanut butter addiction in the past, and it’s so easy to eat a swipe here and there without realizing the hundreds of extra calories that can add up from such small amounts. Instead of 200 calories for a 2 tablespoon a serving, it is only 28 calories! I have been using it on my oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, and even made a delicious Asian dressing with it that I used over a Chinese chicken style salad. I get no endorsement from Professor Nutz, I just can’t stop raving about this awesome discovery.

I asked the Keto Box people if they could give me a discount code I could pass on to all of you in my blog, and they obliged with 20% off! So if you go to http://www.theketobox.com and use code BLANCHE you can get the 20% off. Too see my review of all the products, check out my new video below:
